1. Advancement of Elimination Matches
From July 13th to August, in this round of competition, the opponents in the elimination matches were LGD from Group A and T1. The four teams in the elimination matches were HTA from Group C and the top two teams from Group B. The four teams in the elimination matches were RNG, FPX, and GG; and the ultimate champion RNG won the championship of this tournament, securing the 5th position in the world rankings. They also secured the last spot in the Dota2 International Invitational Finals, becoming the 5th team to advance!
2. Elimination Match Results
After the start of the Dota2ti6 International Invitational Elimination Matches, the matches will be played in a best-of-three format. The two teams defeated the top eight players from Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America, including the number one seed from the LPL region – BB. In the loser’s bracket, teams of similar strength will compete in a BO3 match again. In the end, the top three teams from Group B will qualify for the elimination matches and they will compete against DK, the third-place wildcard team from the LCK region. In the final group stage match, the Dota2ti6 International Invitational Elimination Matches will be decided in a BO4 format. Next, the tournament will move on to the Dota2ti6 International Invitational Semi-Finals, where the DK Gaming and CB teams will compete for the final championship position.
