The Demacia Cup is about to begin! The 2018 Demacia Cup will be held from May 13th to 6th. 12 top teams from various regions will compete in the same online event.
The Demacia Cup is a division of the “Arena of Valor” series of events, with multiple teams participating in the competition. This competition is divided into two stages: regular season and playoffs. Each stage has 4 matches, each BO3, and the final total prize money is 100,000 RMB.
The Demacia Cup is one of the international events organized by the “Arena of Valor” official. As a professional event, participating teams will compete from world-class professional players to well-known esports clubs, and compete for the Demacia Cup championship. In the Demacia Cup, players will not only enjoy an exciting battle, but also experience tense and exciting confrontations.
This Demacia Cup will have 8 competition events and 9 groups, including 2 elimination matches (DKG, EBG) and 1 final match (CTG). Among them, the elimination matches and the final match will distribute rewards based on individual game points; if the game points are the same, they will be weighted according to the win-loss relationship between the two teams; the winner of each group will receive a generous “Golden League” title.
This year’s Demacia Cup will consist of 16 top teams, representing the mainland China region to compete against Mhala Eagles or Astonweka. The competition adopts double elimination system, and each game is BO5.
The teams that advance will qualify through qualifying matches. In the semifinals and finals after the group stage, 32 teams will join the competition in the Demacia Star Camp. The format of the Demacia Cup is similar to the KPL competition in the League of Legends Dota 2 game, but the difference is that it is a team competition with team battles as the core.
