The Winter Crown Finals are set to heat up, who will win the King of Glory Championship? As the 2021 King of Glory Winter Crown Finals are coming to a close, teams from the KPL region have also begun their fierce battles. With the arrival of the 2020 Winter Championship Cup, the participating teams have all set out to compete for the glory of this year’s Finals.
The 2020 Winter Championship Finals will take place on December 13th. In the end, two teams from the Chinese Mainland region will face off against the LPL and LCK, the two major competitive regions, to contend for the championship of this year’s King of Glory Championship Cup! In mid-December, the 2022 League of Legends Spring Split Finals will be held in Hangzhou from January 5th to November 9th on Beijing time; in addition, the top eight teams from this Mid-Season Championship will directly advance to the next round of group stage matches, competing for elimination rights and the last four spots for teams from the Chinese Mainland region. At the end of December, the 2021 K Division Autumn Split Finals will kick off.

The King of Glory 2020 Winter Championship Finals will begin on December 8th, with the matches being played in a group stage format. Between December 5th and December 6th, 16 teams will advance, and the Finals will be held over the weekend.
On December 7th, the top eight teams from the KPL Spring Split Playoffs will compete in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou. They will be divided into two groups and play a BO3 round-robin point-based tournament to determine the ultimate winners of the playoffs. Among them, the four teams from the KPL Spring Split Playoffs will also compete in a BO2 double-elimination format.
In the matches, all participating teams in the Finals will play in a single-elimination BO1 format. The winning team will accumulate victories, while the losing team will receive an overall match count bonus. If the winning rate exceeds 50%, an additional victory round will be awarded. The victories and defeats are all determined in BO1 matches. The losing team will receive additional points for total match count bonuses and gain extra points for double kills, MVP, and team-wide defeats/assists. If the losing team receives all the additional points for total match count bonuses, they can earn extra points.
