In this global event, Chinese and Korean teams will compete for the championship trophy and the title of overall champion. The group stage of the 2022 League of Legends World Championship will officially start at 15:00 on Saturday, October 13th, Beijing time. Eight teams from Europe, Asia, and North America will gather and compete, striving to enter the top eight.

Twelve teams have gathered in various parts of mainland China, laying a solid foundation for the championship dream – they not only have strong strength but also excel in various ways of participating in competitions. In addition, from November 5th to 7th, they will also hold an online and offline event in nine cities, bringing exciting and intense esports frenzy!

As scheduled, this year’s S12 World Championship is being held. The participating teams include: LPL C group FPX, DKG from the RNG region, EBG from the BLG region, G2 from the EDG region, and T1 AUG from the V5 region.

In addition to the regular season, the format of this World Championship is also unique, adopting a BO3 confrontation mode. In each game, players will have three types of professional players participating, and each team will be divided into three stages of competition.

The first stage of the qualifiers will start from October 14th to 22nd. There will be a total of 6 BO1 single-elimination matches from Thursday to the next Monday, including two rounds of BO2 matches; the second stage of the semifinals is divided into four groups by 17 players. In the 16th minute, the team captain KGB will lead the team into the winners’ group. In the main competition of this tournament, teams from different regions will compete, and they have also been divided into different divisions. In the process of the group stage, they will have three paths to compete. The first path is Group A, and the second path is Group B. The teams in Group A will compete in the group stage, and the teams in Group B will achieve good results on the leaderboard, while Group C is the last qualifying line for Group B.
