Deep within Tanaris resides an ancient giant dreadlord named Mapharin, who commands a formidable army. In order to enter his lair and earn substantial experience points and items as rewards, you must defeat opponents that threaten the resources of your country.New Map: Obsidian SanctumUpon completing the first act of the main questline “Road of Shadows,” you will unlock the third phase of Obsidian Sanctum.In the third phase of Obsidian Sanctum, the map features many Blackrock Colossi, Ghost Knight Commanders, and other enemy units. Additionally, special runestone pillars will appear in the corners of the map.There are three types of runestone pillars: Obsidian Crystal Pillars, Obsidian Elemental Pillars, and Obsidian Energy Pillars.The Obsidian Energy Pillars change color gradually from light to dark, starting with white, yellow, blue, green, and orange. These pillars emit different glows and cause surrounding enemies to be shrouded in mist when you approach them. The enemies in these areas are challenging, but once you approach, they will be immobilized.In these areas, players will encounter a colossal titan, Sir Algalon. This grand monarch possesses immense attack power and periodically casts a wide-range skill that inflicts massive damage and provides himself with a shield that lasts 10 seconds. When your character is affected by this skill, it reduces all damage taken but continuously restores your health and mana. If you manage to defeat this target, you will receive an extra Shadow Jewel Box containing 20 Shadow Jewels and a chance to obtain a Shadow Gem Gift Pack.New Instance: Endless Illusion – Obsidian Illusion”Obsidian Illusion” (temporary translation) is one of the new maps added in phase 3-1 of Obsidian Sanctum.
